Nordiska museet has decided to close due to the Covid-19 outbreak, to prevent spreading of the virus. We will continuously follow all updates around the corona (Covid-19) outbreak, as well as guidelines and decisions from authorities and the Swedish government.
We believe that we can contribute to reducing the spread of COVID-19 by temporarily closing the museum, due to multiple visitors travelling from other cities and countries.
The closing of the museum also means that all guided tours, booked group tours and programme activities will be cancelled from Monday, 16 March up to and including Tuesday, 13 April (may be subject to change).
Unfortunately, all guided tours this summer will also be cancelled, both at the museum at Djurgården, and Julita manor, Tyresö palace and Svindersvik.
If you have any further questions related to the closing of the museum, please contact
Emma Reimfelt, Head of Communications
If you have questions regarding a booked tour or similar, please contact the booking office at Nordiska museet
