Study visits to the collections
We offer the opportunity to book study visits to Nordiska Museet’s collections for researchers, students and others with a particular interest. Apply here by filling in our form.
Please note: In 2026, we are unable to accommodate study visits relating to textiles and costume.
What should I do if I wish to arrange a study visit?
- Submit your application 3–6 months before your desired visit by completing the form below.
- Study visits are only possible during regular working hours on Tuesdays and Wednesdays
- The number of objects that can be studied at any one time is limited.
- Please await our response: A curator will contact you by email to confirm your application before we can confirm the date.
- Please await our confirmation: Your visit is only booked once you have received confirmation from us.
- Prior to your study visit, you will be required to sign a confidentiality form.
