The Nordic Museum is located on Royal Djurgården, one of Stockholm’s most iconic islands. Surrounded by lush greenery, shimmering waters, and the vibrant city, our museum venues combine historic charm with modern amenities.



The Great Hall
- Perfect for: Receptions, parties, dinners
- Capacity: Up to 800 standing, 250 seated
The Great Hall is a magnificent venue for mingles, celebrations, or dinners. Host your guests for an unforgettable evening at the Nordic Museum on Royal Djurgården.
It is one of Sweden’s largest rooms, featuring 24-metre-high ceilings. The hall resembles the nave of a Gothic cathedral, with soaring star vaults, pillars, and marble columns.
Guests are greeted by the grandeur of the space, from the moment they enter the vestibule and ascend the staircase. Book a celebration that will be remembered for years to come!

Sofi´s Salon
- Perfect for: Meetings, mingles, workshops, product launches, tastings, small weddings, and photoshoots
- Capacity: Meeting up to 12 people, reception up to 60
Sofi’s Salon has large windows on three sides. The abundant natural light and soft color palette create an atelier-like atmosphere, providing an inspiring backdrop for both creative ideas and memorable moments with friends and family.
The salon is divided into three areas: a lounge with seatings, a workspace including table for 12 plus large screen, a bar with stools invites socialising. A guest WC is conveniently located next to the bar area.

The Assembly Hall
- Perfect for: Lectures, panel discussions, podcast recordings, film screenings
- Capacity: 150 people
The Assembly Hall, designed by Carl-Axel Acking in the 1950s, retains its original furnishings. Exposed brick walls provide excellent acoustics, making it ideal for presentations, seminars, and panel discussions.
The hall has largely been preserved in its original state, offering a prime example of Nordic architecture from the mid-20th century. Conveniently located near the main entrance, cloakroom, and restrooms, The Assembly Hall is perfect for both professional and creative events.

The Conference Room
- Perfect for: Meetings, workshops
- Capacity: 12 people
The Nordic Museum’s Conference Room exudes classic office charm and historical character.
it is a well-appointed conference room with wood paneling and built-in bookshelves in warm tones. A large mullioned window overlooks the museum’s century-old chestnut trees, filling the room with light and a timeless sense of history.
The room is equipped with a large screen TV and seating for twelve around a conference table, which can be divided into six separate sections for flexible layouts.

The Coronation Gallery
- Perfect for: Receptions, mingle
- Capacity: Up to 100 people
This elegant mingling located at the heart of the Nordic Museum offers spectacular natural light and impressive spatial grandeur overlooking the Great Hall. Much of the original interior, including wooden pilasters and staircases to the upper level, has been preserved.
From the balustrade, guests enjoy a breathtaking view, while the soaring vaulted ceilings above the expansive parquet floor create a majestic atmosphere that will leave a lasting impression.
